I'm so tired of back and forth battles on social media. Every person who isn't an identical mirror twin is different from every other person on this planet. Just like snow flakes, we're all different, unique and individual.
Variety is the spice of life!
To say one person's view of something is horrific to you is essentially saying you feel they are a horrific person to think or feel that way.
Simply not the case.
Yes I lean one way and is my choice to do so, as is yours to lean the other way.
What bothers me is how we tend to attack without thinking or fact checking.
Boko Haram?
That could have been my daughter, yours or theirs.
And then today less than ten miles away, this happened.
Even more tragedy today in my new hometown.
We have to stop hating each other. We have to stop thinking ours is the only view because it isn't. So we more need to accept that others may view something differently. It doesn't make them wrong any more than than makes you right.
Make your choice and live with it, but don't tell someone else they are wrong for believing what they believe.
And there's always the No Comment option.
The constant infighting is what takes us no where and solves nothing.
Let's come together, agree to disagree but support each other instead of fight each other.
It's not rocket science. It's co existence.
